Transcrivio is a service based in Sweden ("Transcrivio", "we", "us"). These Terms of Service form a binding agreement between you and Transcrivio. You can reach us at our contact form.
By creating an account, uploading a video, purchasing a plan, or otherwise continuing to use Transcrivio, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please stop using the service. You confirm that you are of legal age and, if you use Transcrivio on behalf of an organisation, that you are authorised to bind that organisation.
Transcrivio converts audio from video files into written text. Audio is extracted in your browser and sent to our transcription service for processing. Free accounts receive a limited number of transcriptions; paid options are described on our pricing section and in the app.
You must not:
You are responsible for having the rights necessary to upload and transcribe the content you submit, and for how you use the resulting transcripts. If a rights holder believes content processed through Transcrivio infringes their rights, they may contact us at the address above and we will review and, where appropriate, remove content and suspend repeat infringers.
Transcripts are produced by automated speech recognition and may contain errors, omissions, or incorrect timestamps. They are not suitable for use as legal, medical, or other regulated professional records without human review. You are responsible for verifying accuracy before relying on any output.
You must provide accurate account information, keep it up to date, and keep your password confidential. You are responsible for all activity under your account. You retain all rights to the files and transcripts you create; you grant us a limited licence to host and process them solely in order to provide the service to you.
Transcrivio, including its software, design, documentation, and branding, remains the property of Transcrivio. You receive a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the service within the plan you have selected.
Transcrivio offers a one-time purchase for a single video and a recurring monthly subscription. Subscriptions renew automatically each month until cancelled, and you can cancel at any time from your account page; access continues until the end of the paid period. Prices are shown before checkout and include applicable VAT.
All payment, billing, tax, invoicing, cancellation, and refund mechanics are handled by our reseller, Paddle, and are governed by the Paddle Buyer Terms.
Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Paddle provides all customer service inquiries and handles returns.
See our Refund Policy for details on refunds.
We aim to keep Transcrivio available and reliable, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted, timely, secure, or error-free performance. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue features at any time.
We may suspend or terminate your access, with or without notice where appropriate, in the event of material breach of these terms, non-payment, a security or fraud risk, or repeated or serious policy violations. You may stop using the service and delete your account at any time. On termination, your right to use the service ends and your data may be deleted after a reasonable export window.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, the service is provided "as is" and we disclaim all implied warranties, including merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, including loss of profits, data, or goodwill. Our aggregate liability is limited to the fees you paid in the twelve months preceding the claim. Nothing in these terms excludes liability for fraud, death, or personal injury caused by negligence, or any liability that cannot be excluded by law.
You agree to indemnify us against claims arising from your content, your unlawful use of the service, or your breach of these terms.
We may update these terms from time to time. We will update the "Last updated" date and, for material changes, notify account holders. Continued use after changes means you accept them.
These terms are governed by Swedish law, and the courts of Sweden have jurisdiction, without affecting any mandatory consumer protections available to you where you live. We may assign this agreement in connection with a merger or acquisition; you may not assign it without our consent. Neither party is liable for delays caused by events beyond its reasonable control.
