    Use your transcripts in ChatGPT, Claude and other AI assistants

    Connect Transcrivio to your favorite AI chat tool so you can transcribe a video and get the text straight into your conversation — without copy-pasting.

    Step 1 — Create an API key

    An API key lets your AI assistant transcribe on your behalf. Every transcription uses your normal Transcrivio balance (free quota, credits or subscription). Keep the key secret — anyone with it can spend your balance.

    Step 2 — Connect your AI assistant

    Build a Custom GPT with an action that calls Transcrivio. Requires a ChatGPT plan that includes GPTs (Plus, Pro, Team or Enterprise).

    1. In ChatGPT, open Explore GPTs → Create → Configure.
    2. Under Actions, choose Import from URL and paste:

    3. In the action's Authentication, pick API Key → Bearer, and paste your trsk_… key.
    4. Add instructions such as: "When the user uploads or links a video or audio file, call transcribeAudio and summarize the result. If the file is a video, ask the user for the audio track or tell them to transcribe it at Transcrivio first."
    5. Save the GPT and try: "Transcribe this recording and summarize the key points."

    Note: the API accepts audio files (WAV, MP3, WebM, M4A, OGG, AAC, FLAC) up to 25 MB. For longer videos, transcribe on the Transcrivio homepage and paste the result into ChatGPT instead.

    Good to know

    • Transcriptions made through the API count against the same balance as the website.
    • Rate limit: 10 requests per minute per key.
    • Revoke a key instantly above if you ever lose it.
